The Member representing Ajaokuta State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Jibril Onoru-Oiza Abu, has reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development as he continues with another phase of water project across the constituency.
The water project, which was initially kickstarted in Ajaokuta District, has now advanced to Eganyi district, reinforcing Hon. Jibril’s commitment to ensuring that every district within the constituency benefits from this life-impacting water project.
In his remarks, Hon. Jibril Abu emphasized the significance of the project, declaring:
“Water is life, and with your mandate, we are drilling again! The ground has opened, the people will drink, and your votes are working through your Constituency Funds. This is progress you can see, and a promise you can touch.”
He further stressed that the Ajaokuta State Constituency belongs to all, noting that:
“We have no other place to call our own. Every effort, every project, is dedicated to improving the lives of our people.”
The lawmaker also expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the unflinching support extended to his legislative efforts.
“The Governor’s support makes the task easier. I am deeply grateful, and together we will continue to deliver more dividends of democracy to our people,” he affirmed.
